Mark Rashap has spent more than 20 years working across the wine industry, from winemaking and wine education to retail, sales, and brand development. His career has taken him from studying wine management in Argentina and working as an assistant winemaker in Washington State to leading wine education for the Wine & Food Foundation of Texas and working in sales and strategic brand development.
A believer in wine as a way to connect people, places, and cultures, Mark originally created Another Bottle Down as a radio show on Austin’s KOOP 91.7 FM.
Jessica Dupuy
Wine journalist, author, speaker, and sommelier
Jessica Dupuy writes about wine, spirits, food, and the people and places behind them. Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Forbes, Texas Monthly, Decanter, GuildSomm, and other publications, and she is the author of several books, most recently Italianity, written with Andrea Lonardi.
With more than 15 years working across journalism, wine, food, and communications, Jessica brings a journalist’s curiosity to the conversations on Another Bottle Down, always interested in the story behind the bottle, as much as what’s in it.
From winemakers and producers to writers, educators, and other voices across the industry, Jessica and Mark explore the people, places, ideas, and drinks that make the world of wine and spirits so interesting.
